SLVR
The I-Beam, a construction material commonly found in mid-century architecture, boasts both simplicity and minimalism in its form while also demonstrating the strength necessary to support a building.
Surrounded by this architectural style in Los Angeles which holds a special place for me, The SLVR side table is designed as an ode to this design era, particularly in this city, Los Angeles.
The side table features a cantilevered, asymmetrical design that appears to float off the ground, combining the warmth of white oak as its primary material with a pop of color for added character. It highlights the complexity of how two finishes seamlessly connect while playing with the object's negative and positive space.
