David Hwang is a Los Angeles based product + furniture designer, telling stories through furniture and everyday products that are inspired by his curiosity, surroundings and emotion. There is a magic that happens when he delves into his own curiosity and starts to experiment, whether that is a material he has never seen or a manufacturing technique that excites him.

I strongly believe that we can create meaningful connections when we physically interact with and touch our surroundings. There is no better medium to convey this idea than through the physical objects we interact with daily.

For me, the most significant of these objects is furniture. It provides an opportunity for creative freedom, allowing experimentation with exciting and beautiful materials combined with innovative manufacturing methods.
